Entry #6 Allstate, you’re in good hands.

After watching all of the All State advertisements, the one that humored me the most is the one where the agent is driving a pink SUV. This advertisement stood out to me more than the rest because I feel like myself being just a girl… I can unfortunately relate to this, even though its a serious situation, the advertisement added some comedy to it. The audience I believe that the advertisement is targeting is teenage girls of course but also parents who are responsible for these teenagers. The advertisement is very relatable because thinking back to when we were teenager’s everything could distract us and unfortunately it could end up like the ad, in an accident. I feel like this advertisement will make people purchase All State because it made it very comforting and relatable to the audience. Rhetoric was used in the advertisement because it helps to persuade people to buy the product or believe in the message. It makes the ad more interesting and convincing by using words and images that grab your attention. Rhetoric also helps to highlight the important features and benefits of the product, making it clear why it's a good choice. It's like telling a story that makes you want to be a part of it, and that's why it's correctly used in advertisements to get our attention and convince us to take action. So, when you see rhetoric in ads, it's not a bad thing; it's just a way to get the message across effectively.
